Compact copper busway is a compact and highly efficient power transmission equipment, specially designed for low-voltage and high-current power distribution systems. Its core conductors adopt high-purity electrolytic copper bars, featuring excellent electrical conductivity and low impedance, which can significantly reduce line power loss.

In terms of product structure, copper bars are closely arranged between phases. Heat-resistant and flame-retardant insulating materials are used to tightly isolate conductors from each other and from the grounded enclosure without air gaps, resulting in a compact structure and small space occupation. Thanks to the close stacking of conductors, the heat dissipation path is short, and heat generated by the copper bars can be directly transferred to the metal housing for dissipation, greatly improving current-carrying capacity compared with traditional cables.

The housing is usually made of high-strength galvanized steel sheet or aluminum alloy profiles, providing excellent mechanical protection and corrosion resistance, with a protection degree ranging from IP54 to IP65.

Compact copper busway adopts a modular design. The standard length of straight sections is 3 meters or 4 meters, which can be quickly connected by special joints, enabling flexible and convenient installation.

Our company commonly uses two reference HS codes for the export of compact busways: 8544492900 and 8544422900. Both fall under Chapter 8544 for insulated electrical conductors, applicable to low‑voltage busways with a rated voltage above 80V and up to 1000V. These classification codes are widely adopted globally for customs declaration, clearance and export tax rebate procedures.

HS 8544422900 applies to compact busways supplied with joints and connectors, corresponding to the customs description: "Insulated electric conductors with connectors, rated voltage over 80V and up to 1000V". When declaring under this code, it shall be clearly indicated that the goods include connectors and related accessories.

HS 8544492900 is suitable for plain busway straight sections without connectors, classified as "Other insulated electric conductors with rated voltage over 80V and up to 1000V", mainly used for the declaration of bare busway body sections.

In terms of tariffs and tax rebates, China imposes no export duties on these products. Qualified enterprises can apply for statutory export tax rebates to reduce overall export costs and enhance market competitiveness. Import duties are levied by the destination customs in accordance with local tariff schedules, with rates varying by country and region. Preferential tariff rates under free trade agreements can be applied with a valid Certificate of Origin.
