Busway Junction

Two sections of compact busway are connected by busway connectors in a plug-in manner. This connection method does not affect the overall current-carrying capacity or protection class of the busway system, nor does it change the original length and width of the system. The reliability of the busway system is closely related to the connection quality of the two busway sections, so it is necessary to control the entire process of "model matching - copper busbar processing - sealing protection - testing verification". In particular, attention should be paid to the treatment effect of the contact surface, whether the bolt tightening torque meets the standard, and the integrity of the seal, so as to ensure that the busway system can operate safely and stably in complex working conditions such as high-current environments, humidity, or vibration.

1.Model and Parameter Matching: 

Confirm that the current rating and phase number of the connector are consistent with those of the busway to avoid insufficient current carrying capacity caused by mixed use.

2.Copper Busbar Alignment and Cleaning: 

Before connection, the surfaces of the busway and connector should be cleaned to prevent impurities from affecting current transmission; during connection, misalignment of copper busbars should be avoided to prevent excessive temperature rise caused by insufficient contact area.

3.Protection Treatment:

After connection, add a cover to the outer side of the connection part to maintain the overall protection class of the busway system.
