The manufacturing process of DC sandwich busway starts with rigorous raw material screening. High-purity electrolytic copper bars are selected as conductors, and aluminum-magnesium alloy profiles as the enclosure. All materials must pass composition testing via a spectrometer before warehousing.

The next stage is conductor processing. Copper bars go through straightening, fixed-length cutting, punching and bending, followed by tin or silver plating surface treatment to reduce contact resistance and enhance corrosion resistance.

Insulation treatment is a critical procedure. Polyester film or epoxy resin powder is used to wrap or coat the copper bars, ensuring that the dielectric voltage withstand performance between conductors, as well as between conductors and the enclosure, meets the requirements of DC systems.

After insulation, multiple conductors are arranged in order by positive and negative polarities and embedded into the aluminum-magnesium alloy enclosure. Hydraulic compression or bolt fastening is adopted to tightly bond the conductors and the enclosure to form a sandwich laminated structure. End treatment is performed on both ends of the enclosure, with connection terminals and insulating partitions installed.

Then comes the assembly phase, including installation of plug-in interfaces, earthing terminals and nameplates. Finished products undergo a series of inspections such as voltage withstand test, insulation resistance test, temperature rise test and DC resistance measurement. Products that pass all tests are packaged and stored in the warehouse.

The whole process is carried out in a workshop with relatively stable environmental conditions to guarantee product consistency and long-term operational reliability.

When purchasing DC sandwich busway, you shall first clarify project requirements, including parameters such as rated current, voltage class, protection grade, installation environment and whether customized interfaces are needed. We will quote according to the customer's inquiry and provide formal quotations inclusive of tax, together with product certificates, type test reports and typical project references.

After receiving the quotation, customers may compare core parameters such as conductor material and cross-sectional area, insulation material brand, enclosure manufacturing process, temperature rise index and short-circuit withstand capability, rather than focusing merely on price.

Once cooperation is confirmed, we will sign a formal purchase contract specifying lead time, payment terms (typically 30% advance payment and full balance before shipment), warranty period and liabilities for breach of contract. During production, customers may assign dedicated personnel to conduct factory inspection at key milestones or request the manufacturer to supply photos and videos of production progress.

Prior to shipment, we will carry out factory acceptance inspection to verify product specifications, quantities and accompanying documents (certificates of conformity, test reports and packing lists). After delivery, the customer shall perform unpacking inspection within the time agreed in the contract to check for transportation damage on appearance and properly retain all documents.

In response to customers' factory audit requirements both at home and abroad, we adopt flexible audit methods according to the customer's region and actual situation.

For domestic customers, on-site factory visits are recommended as the priority. Customers may make an appointment in advance to visit our factory. We will open the raw material warehouse, production workshops, quality inspection area and finished goods warehouse for customers, so that they can verify the copper bar material, insulation material brands, precision of production equipment and calibration status of testing instruments. Spot checks can also be conducted on the consistency of work-in-progress and finished products on site.

For overseas customers, an on-site factory audit together with technical communication can be arranged if conditions permit. If an on-site visit is not feasible due to distance, visa or other constraints, we offer virtual video factory audits. We will prepare high-definition cameras or mobile phones in advance and start a real-time video call at the agreed time to show the production flow, key working procedures, testing processes and inventory in sequence. On-site test demonstrations of specific products can be performed upon customer request.

Besides, customers may appoint a third-party inspection agency to carry out an independent factory audit and issue an official audit report.Regardless of the audit method selected, we suggest customers provide their audit checklist or key concerns beforehand. We will assign dedicated staff to accompany and give explanations to ensure an efficient and transparent factory audit.
