Growing Emphasis On Product Certification

Recently, the busway industry has shown clear trends in foreign trade and domestic engineering projects. During the tendering and inquiry stages of projects, both domestic and overseas customers are increasingly rigorous in verifying authoritative product certifications. Certification certificates have become a core threshold for project admission, rather than merely supplementary reference materials.

Domestic purchasers for new energy, data center, and industrial plant projects focus on verifying CQC certificates and type test reports in busway tenders, strictly checking test data such as temperature rise, short-circuit withstand, and ingress protection rating, and preventing products without proper certification from entering projects. In overseas markets, European customers require CE and CB certification, the North American market requires UL857 certification, and projects in the Middle East and Southeast Asia also require corresponding regional compliance certificates. Customers verify the standard version of certificates and the qualifications of testing institutions. Simply providing basic test reports no longer meets project evaluation requirements.

Market feedback shows that in the past, many overseas customers only focused on product price and delivery time. Today, they request a full set of certification documents at the initial inquiry stage, and some projects also require factory witnessed tests and certificate traceability verification. The logic of industry competition is gradually shifting. Low price alone no longer provides an advantage. Busway manufacturers with a complete compliance certification system are more likely to gain customer trust.

Along with the upgrading of global power distribution safety regulations and the rapid growth of new power station projects such as energy storage and photovoltaic projects, the safety and reliability of busways are being given higher priority. To expand into domestic and overseas markets, enterprises need to benchmark against target market standards in advance, complete product certification, and continuously maintain certificate validity, so as to consolidate their competitiveness in domestic and overseas markets with a sound certification system and respond to increasingly stringent project compliance reviews.
