Recently, our company has successfully signed the first supply contract for DC cast resin bus ducts since its establishment. This marks a key breakthrough for the company in the new energy DC power distribution sector, completes the commercial market verification of our DC cast resin bus duct product line, and further enriches our full-spectrum bus duct product portfolio.
The cooperating client for this project is a large energy storage power station developer. The project site is located in an outdoor waterside area plagued by harsh operating conditions including high humidity, acid-alkali corrosion and sharp day-night temperature fluctuations. Conventional bus ducts are prone to insulation failure caused by moisture ingress and heat generation from corrosion. After multiple rounds of technical solution comparison and type tests on samples, the client finally selected our DC cast resin bus ducts as the backbone of DC power transmission for the project. Manufactured via integral vacuum epoxy resin casting technology, the product reaches an IP68 ingress protection rating. Its monolithic sealed structure completely blocks moisture and corrosive gas, and features fire resistance, explosion proof performance and impact resistance, making it perfectly suited for 1500V DC power distribution systems of energy storage and photovoltaic facilities.
To tackle technical bottlenecks such as eddy current loss and temperature rise control in DC power transmission, our R&D team spent one year iterating material formulas and optimizing structural design. High-purity copper conductors are matched with low-viscosity insulating casting compound to effectively reduce losses from the DC skin effect. The entire bus duct is integrally cast, with no exposed live parts at elbows and joints, eliminating hidden risks of contact overheating during long-term operation. All products undergo a full range of tests including temperature rise, short-circuit withstand, waterproof and anti-corrosion inspections in strict compliance with IEC 61439-6 and GB/T 7251.6 standards, and are capable of stable operation for 20 years in harsh environments such as open-air sites and underground cable trenches.
During the order execution, the Technical, Sales and Production departments worked in close synergy. Catering to the project's constraints of limited on-site space and numerous non-standard turning sections, we customized exclusive bus routing drawings, and delivered complete installation specifications together with 3D construction guidance videos to fully resolve all on-site installation challenges for the client.
The delivery of this maiden DC cast resin bus duct project stands as a vital milestone in our in-depth development of the new energy market. Moving forward, our company will continuously ramp up R&D investment in DC bus duct series, optimize cast resin bus ducts dedicated to energy storage, wind power and electrolysis industries, and expand overseas new energy infrastructure markets simultaneously. With our full product range covering air-insulated, compact sandwich, fire-resistant and DC cast resin bus ducts, we deliver one-stop high and low voltage power distribution solutions for clients at home and abroad, and steadily expand our footprint in the supporting new energy power equipment market backed by robust core technologies.
