To better meet the market demand for small-batch and multi-specification busbar trunking orders, our company has recently fully launched a "lean production" upgrade program. For this upgrade, we have invited industry experts in lean production to provide on-site guidance, focusing on optimizing three key areas: production processes, material management, and personnel scheduling.
In terms of production processes, we have standardized procedures such as busbar cutting, punching, and assembly, and formulated the Guidelines for Rapid Production of Small Orders to reduce time loss caused by specification switching. For material management, we have introduced an intelligent warehousing system, which implements QR code scanning for the inbound and outbound of commonly used copper bars, insulating accessories, and other materials, lowering the risk of wrong or missing deliveries. Regarding personnel scheduling, we have carried out "multi-process skill training" to develop a team of technical workers capable of handling multiple positions, thereby enhancing production flexibility.
Since the implementation of the upgrade one month ago, the average delivery cycle for our small and medium-sized orders has been significantly shortened, and the material inventory turnover rate has also improved markedly. In the past production and processing process, small orders were often delayed due to issues such as production scheduling and material supply. Now, after streamlining the processes, small orders can also be produced efficiently, better meeting customers' timeliness requirements.
This lean production upgrade is an important measure for our company, as a small and medium-sized enterprise, to proactively adapt to market demands and enhance core competitiveness. It lays a solid foundation for undertaking more diversified orders and improving market competitiveness in the future.
