The busduct industry is undergoing in-depth iteration, shifting from "passive power conduction" toward the parallel development of "active sensing" and "active heat dissipation". The recent wave of new product launches and technical announcements indicates that intelligence is no longer an optional concept; instead, it is becoming an entry-level requirement for high-load applications.

In June 2025, Sanjucheng Electric officially launched its new-generation intelligent busduct system. The system monitors critical parameters including temperature, humidity, current and voltage in real time. Leveraging a cloud platform, it enables overheating detection of connectors, early warnings for abnormal ambient humidity and predictive maintenance. It transforms the passive state of traditional busducts under harsh working conditions such as high temperature, water ingress and pressure difference into proactive, traceable management with pre-alert functions.

Around the same period, Gansu Electric Group Changkong Company's CCZX series intelligent busduct adopts a combination of infrared temperature monitoring and intelligent sensing modules. It synchronously collects data ranging from joint temperature rise to operating parameters of plug-in boxes and supports multi-level alarm linkage. This product has won a provincial science and technology innovation award, further verifying the engineering maturity of intelligent busducts in industrial power distribution scenarios.

On the side of upstream materials and heat dissipation technology, Leipeng Electric published a patent for self-cooling busducts in October 2025. Graphene, aluminum borate whiskers and nano-titanium dioxide are incorporated into the copper alloy matrix. Combined with optimized temperature field design methodology, the material improves thermal conductivity and thermal stability under heavy-load operation at the material level. It builds up technical reserves for another reliability solution independent of intelligent monitoring.

These two development threads converge on one industry reality: competition in the busduct sector is shifting from simple current-carrying capacity to integrated system capability covering "sensing – analysis – heat dissipation".

Market statistics show that the global power distribution busduct system market will register a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of approximately 6.5% from 2025 to 2031. New market growth will be mainly concentrated in sectors with stringent full-lifecycle reliability requirements, including data centers, new energy and high-end manufacturing.

For busduct manufacturers and buyers, there is a clear signal: only products that deeply integrate the "soft capability" of intelligent monitoring with the "solid foundation" of heat dissipation structures can serve as the foundation to survive the next round of industry competition.
