Application Expansion Of Busways in The New Energy Sector

Besides the new national standards coming in for wind power, busways are starting to show up more in places like solar power setups. Thats the photovoltaic or PV side of things. It feels like the market is picking up there slowly but surely.

Experts over at the China Photovoltaic Industry Association talk about how big PV plants need special stuff for their inverter outputs and busbar systems. Like they have to handle weather okay, carry enough current, and last a long time. All that pushes for power gear that matches up. So cast resin busways with good protection, say IP68 level, and ones that resist corrosion, they fit right in and open up a lot of space in the market.

In 2024 China kept adding PV capacity fast, and those big ground ones made up more than 60 percent of it. That kind of setup helps busways get used on a bigger scale I suppose. Then theres this building-integrated PV tech growing, BIPV for short. It means lighter busways could work well on commercial building roofs for solar. Seems promising for the future.

The whole new energy area looks like its turning into a big opportunity for busways, right after the usual industrial and commercial buildings. Estimates say demand there might grow over 20 percent each year for the next five. Wind power standards tie into that too, making it all connect somehow. This part gets a bit messy to follow exactly.
