3-Phase Fire-Resistant Busway

The three-phase five-wire fire-resistant busway consists of three phase wires (A, B, C), one neutral wire (N), and an independent protective earth wire (PE). The PE busbar is completely insulated from the enclosure and directly connected to the metal casing of equipment. This design enables the independent PE busbar to quickly conduct away equipment leakage current. Even in complex environments with frequent vibration and easy insulation aging, it can rapidly cut off faulty circuits through a dedicated grounding channel, significantly enhancing system safety. As typical application scenarios of fire-resistant busways impose strict requirements on the reliability of grounding protection, the three-phase five-wire system avoids potential interference affecting the operation of precision equipment through the complete separation of PE and N wires. Therefore, the three-phase five-wire system is more commonly selected in all complex scenarios where fire-resistant busways are applied.
