Epoxy Resin Cast Busway Elbow

The epoxy cast busway elbow Sectione uses a casting process that mixes epoxy resin with a curing agent, forming an integrated sealed structure between the insulation layer and the enclosure. With a protection class of IP68, it resists dust, moisture, and corrosion from acid, alkali, and salt environments. Most elbows are designed at 90°, with conductors at the bend using either a one-piece copper busbar bending process or two-piece copper busbar welding, ensuring the current-carrying capacity remains consistent with straight sections. The enclosure is made of aluminum alloy profiles with high impact resistance, suitable for various scenarios including horizontal and vertical turns. During installation, it can be quickly docked with straight busway sections, and the connection is sealed by casting to maintain the protection class. This makes it ideal for industrial plants, underground utility tunnels, and other locations with strict sealing requirements, ensuring safe and stable power transmission.

1. Vertical Elbows:

Similar to dense busways, the elbow types of cast busways are also divided into vertical elbows and horizontal elbows. There are generally two ways to process the conductors in vertical elbows: one is integral cutting, where the required size is cut from a whole copper plate; the other is welding two copper busbars. Both processing methods have no impact on the current-carrying capacity of the conductors, but the second method is more frequently used considering cost factors.

2. Horizontal Elbows:

The conductor processing method for horizontal elbows is simpler than that for vertical elbows, requiring only bending the conductor with a bending machine. This one-step mechanical bending process simplifies the technology and facilitates operation, significantly reducing processing time, labor input, and equipment costs.
